  • Formulate and provide educational curricula that enable students to independently decide on a research theme, establish a research plan and manage the progress of their academic dissertation study.

To embrace "involvement in society from a global perspective"

  • Provide opportunities for students to understand problems related to their field of specialization from a global perspective and to consider what research and development are required to find solutions for such problems.
  • Provide opportunities for students to present their research results to international audiences and to audiences from different fields, and to exchange information.
  • Provide educational opportunities to interact with diverse groups of people with an understanding of diverse cultures and history in and outside of Japan.

To acquire "specialized knowledge, skills and abilities"

  • Provide opportunities for students to be proactively involved in the creation of new wisdom and value in preparation for their academic dissertation study.
  • Provide opportunities for students to establish a specific research plan and manage the progress of their research in light of evaluations for their academic dissertation study.

To nurture "excellent problem-solving skills"

  • Provide opportunities for students to share professional information and knowledge in their specialized field with joint researchers and research associates and to facilitate joint research in cooperation and collaboration from a leadership position for the preparation of their academic dissertation study.
