Measures regarding a leave of absence due to Tohoku Earthquake

To all students
If you wish to take a leave of absence due to the effect of the earthquake occurred on March 11, you may file the request effective retroactive to April 1, 2011 when you satisfy the following conditions. Whether your request is approved or not will be decided by your faculty/graduate school. Please note that this measure is only granted for this school year.

1. You must submit a request for a leave of absence in writing using the official form to the faculty/graduate school you belong to no later than April 28 (Thursday).
2. The reason for a leave of absence must be the effect of the above mentioned earthquake.
