１　支給対象者　以下のすべてに該当する学生を対象とする。

＊千葉大学の学部または大学院に正規の学生（学部学生・大学院生）として初めて入学した私費外国人留学生。ただし、入学した月から12ヶ月を超えた者および千葉大学の学部を卒業後に大学院に入学した者を除く。

＊自ら居住するために、アパート等の賃貸住宅（借り上げ宿舎を除く。）を借り受けている学生。

＊契約期間が1年以上で、月額が15,000円を超える家賃を支払っている学生。

＊すでに一度受給したことのある学生は対象としない。

２　支給要件

＊入学時の成績が優秀な者。

＊親族等から受けている仕送りが平均月額90,000円以下であること。

＊申請者と同居し生計を一にしている者の年収が500万円未満であること。

３　給付額・支給期間等

＊給付金額は、家賃の月額（共益費・管理費を除く。）から15,000円を控除したもの。ただし、10,000円を上限とする。

＊支給期間は、千葉大学に初めて正規学生として入学した月から12ヶ月を限度とする。

＊賃貸契約の開始日が月の初日以外の場合は、翌月から奨学金の支給対象月とする。

＊退去・転居等のために、家賃を日割り計算で支払った場合は、その月は奨学金の支給はしない。

４　申請方法

＊下記５の①の申請書と③の口座振込み依頼書を以下のＵＲＬよりダウンロードするか、留学生課窓口にて受け取り、必要な書類を添えて申請してください。なお、支払い証明書（領収書等）は3ヶ月ごとに申請書に添えて提出すること。

５　必要書類

＊申請する際には、以下の書類を提出してください。

①私費外国人留学生生活支援奨学金支給申請書

②賃貸契約書（コピー）　※申請時に原本を提示すること

③家賃領収書または家賃を支払った証明書（支給対象期間の全部）

④口座振込み依頼書　※捺印されたもの

⑤ 学生証（コピー）

⑥外国人登録証（両面のコピー）

⑦パスポート（身分ページと在留期限のあるページのコピー）

６　申請受付期間

＊6月、9月、12月、3月の20日までに、当月分まで支払った3か月分の支払い証明書を添えて申請すること。

・4,5,6月支払い分　→　6月20日までに提出

・7,8,9月支払い分　→　9月20日までに提出

・10.11,12月支払い分　→　12月20日までに提出

・1,2,3月支払い分　→　3月20日までに提出

７　その他

＊奨学金の支給は、原則として申請し、支給額を決定された月の翌月末となります。

＊受給者には支給通知書を発行するので、各自、留学生課で受け取ってください。

＊留学生課担当から各学生への連絡は基本的にE-mailのみで行いますが、個別の締切案内等はしないので、各自＊で各締切日までに提出をしてください。

＊亥鼻地区（医学部、看護学部又は所属の研究センターの学務担当）、松戸地区（園芸学部学生生活担当）の窓口　　においても申請手続きができます。

Chiba University offers rental subsidies to newly admitted international students as part of our student supports.

1. Eligibility

You may apply if you satisfy all items below:

• newly admitted as an undergraduate or a graduate student in Chiba University (non-degree-seeking students (ex. research students) and researchers are excluded)
• borrow a privately rented apartment (excluding Chiba University International House or leased apartment rooms by Chiba University) for your own living
• your rental contract period is not less than 1year, and the rent fee is not less than 15,000 yen/month
• have not received this subsidy in the past
• do not receive financial support from your family/relatives more than 90,000 yen/month
• if you are married, annual income of your spouse who lives with you is less than 5 million yen

2. Amount and period of subsidy

• The amount of the subsidy is the value deducted 15,000yen from the monthly rent fee; however, the maximum amount of the subsidy is 10,000yen.
• The subsidy period is one year from the month you are admitted to Chiba University.
• In order to receive the subsidy, you must turn in the required documents (see 4. Deadlines to claim subsidies) by each deadline: the subsidy will be paid to your bank account every three month.
• If the date of your contract is not the first day of the month, you can start receiving the benefit from the following month.

3. How to apply

Turn in all items listed below to International Student Division or to any ISD office.

4. Deadlines to claim subsidies

Submit item 1 and 2 (see 3. How to apply) by each deadline specified below to claim the subsidy.

April, May and June	June 20
July, August and September	September 20
October, November, December	December 20
January, February and March	March 20

Note that International Student Division will NOT send you any reminder about the deadline. If you fail to submit the required documents by the above deadline, you may not receive the subsidy for the period.
