To date, a total of twelve researchers were appointed at the special tenure-track positions in Chiba University through international recruitment.
We are inviting applications for a special tenure-track position (at the rank of Associate Professor) in the research area specified below for a 5-year term, ending March, 2016.We are recruiting a young researcher who has all the qualities necessary to become a future leader in life science areas. Both research and comprehensive leadership abilities (planning skills, organizational skills, motivation, analytical skills, etc.) will be evaluated during selection.
An appointee will be provided with laboratory space, startup budget, and research funding as well as funding to hire a support staff. They are, in principle, exempt from various committee and administrative work, but are encouraged to take part in educational activities at the graduate level.
