Ambassador of the United Mexican States visits Chiba University

Ambassador of the United Mexican States, H.E. Mr. Carlos Fernando Almada López, visited Chiba University on March 3, 2016 to discuss future cooperative efforts between Mexico and Chiba University.

During his visit, H.E. Mr. Almada López met with President Takeshi Tokuhisa. H.E. also had an opportunity to participate in the workshop with the students from universities in Mexico. The students are visiting Chiba University for the workshop that is part of "Re-Inventing Japan Program -Support for the Formation of Collaborative Programs with Latin America" supported by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT). H.E. acknowledged the excitement to expand educational opportunities between Mexico and Japan through this program, referring it encourages students to pursue intellectual curiosity, energy, and passion.
