Students from the University of Cincinnati Joined Spring Program at Chiba University

25 students from Linder College of Business, the University of Cincinnati in the U.S. joined "Spring Program at Chiba University 2017" from March 11th to 18th. The purpose of this program is to learn characteristics of Japanese society and deepen understanding of international relations from political and economical aspects.
Prof. Ishido (Faculty of Law, Politics and Economics) conducted lectures and discussions regarding TPP and economic integration. They also joined the Shin-Nittetsu steel factory tour and the Edo-Tokyo museum tour to learn Japanese history of the development. In addition, they participated in the Japanese Language class and workshops regarding traditional Japanese culture (Calligraphy, Kimono dressing and Sushi-roll cooking). Although it was the first time for them to come to Japan, they really enjoyed staying in Japan and joining the program.
