Brief Description
Students will develop and improve their reading skills by actively reading texts and articles from a wide variety of different academic sources. Students will use different strategies and skills in order to help them become independent readers.

The class will be conducted in English, and a high level of participation will be expected from all students. Students are expected to come to class having reviewed the relevant set reading. Each class will have time dedicated to reading comprehension, and discussion activities. Homework assignments will be given on each textbook article.
