Effect of time of supplemental lightning on yield in a low-truss, high-density Tomato production system and their economy

LED lightning has been popular because it has many advantages such as long life, energy saving and easy to control of light quality. In this project, supplemental LED lightning was used in tomato production and we evaluated improvement of photosynthesis, yield and quality of tomato. It was shown that the yield and sugar content of tomato was improved. Further study is necessary how supplemental LED lightning can be efficient and economical.
