Plant factory in schools

Temporary buildings are used in Futaba elementary and middle school (Iwaki-shi, Fukushima) after the Great East Japan Earthquake. Plant factories are appropriate to grow plants inside of the building. Plant factories were installed in 2014. Dianthus, radish and tatsi showed good growth and the plant factories are used throughout a year.
