Cross Cultural Design Collaboration 2014

This Landscape Design Studio was a joint project participated by 15 Chiba University students and 26 International students from 11 exchange schools of 8 countries. They were offered 2 themes, one was Planning & Designing project to renovation design proposal of Matsudo Central Park which is located east side of Matsudo station, and another was Design & Build project to make handmade wagons which were displayed at the Bon festival held by Matsudo residents’ association. At the final day, excellent design proposal for renovation of Central Park was selected by citizens, and 4 wagons which are themed swaying bench, children’s play wagon, landscape wagon and Café wagon were exhibited at the citizen's Bon festival.
