The Graduate School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences was established in 2001 under the innovative integration program between the Graduate School of Medicine and the Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
The graduate program is conducted by the faculty members of the Graduate school of Medicine, the Graduate school of Pharmaceutical Sciences, and the Medical Mycology Research Center. In addition, the school collaborate with the National Institute of Radiological Sciences, Chiba Cancer Center, Kazusa DNA Research Institute, National Institute for Environmental Studies, and Institute of Physical and Chemical Research with the aim of nurturing creative researchers who will lead life science research, scientists who promote pharmaceutical development, and doctors and pharmacists who can respond to the advanced medical care.
