Staff Development Program with King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi

At Chiba University, an international staff development program conducted by administrative staff was held on May 20 with King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (hereinafter KMUTT), which has an inter-university exchange agreement. Three participants from KMUTT and 21 participants from Chiba University took part in the event. In the morning, the theme was "The Attractions of Japan and Thailand; how to attract international students," and in the afternoon, it focused on "The Career Path Systems for University Staff in Japan and Thailand." There were lively group discussions and presentations. On the day of the event, under the guidance of Chiba University staff, it was conducted in a cheerful and enjoyable atmosphere, incorporating icebreakers and tea break throughout. KMUTT staff who participated in the program said, 'I was able to participate very enjoyable. I was able to make a lot of friends in Chiba.' In addition to providing opportunities for the development of the capabilities, strengthening collaboration at the administrative level is expected to further advance international exchange between the two universities.
